Mr. Murray Westerberg is the Vice President of Construction for Borea Construction ULC, spearheading the construction of renewable energy projects in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. With a robust track record dating back to 2003, he brings a wealth of experience in both the renewable energy and heavy construction sectors. Mr. Westerberg has a diverse skills encompassing project management, energy delivery, renewable energy, team building, as well as proficiency in contract negotiation and management. He is an accomplished professional with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Queen's University.
He was responsible for creating the business plan, orchestrating operations, driving growth, and leading business development for Eagle West Wind Energy, which employed more than 300 employees. During this time, he led the expansion of offices in both London, Ontario and Calgary, Alberta. This company was then acquired by Borea in July 2013.
Murray Westerberg has been involved in more than 25 large-scale renewable energy projects and has led the construction of more than 1,500 MW of wind and 30 MW of solar from concept to completion in locations across Canada.
