Projet Sharp Hills

Sharp Hills Wind

The Sharp Hills Wind Project is in Special Area 3 and 4 near the hamlets of Sedalia and New Brigden, in Alberta. The project area is primarily used for grain farming and cattle grazing, which consists mainly of flat plains and rolling hills. Sharp Hills Wind Farm has a mixed layout utilizin g 67 Vestas V150 turbines rated at 4.3 MW and 4.5 MW and has an installed capacity of 300MW. Sharp Hills’ generation is equivalent to the consumption of more than 160,000 Alberta homes.

Michichi Solar

La centrale photovoltaïque Michichi est une installation solaire de 25 MWac construite dans le comté de Kneehill, en Alberta, juste au nord de Drumheller, branchée au système électrique interconnecté de l’Alberta à la sous-station 802S Michichi Creek. Chaque année, le projet solaire Michichi produira suffisamment d’énergie sans émission pour alimenter plus de 6 000 foyers en Alberta et compensera environ 30 000 tonnes métriques d’équivalent CO2.

Projet Kneehill

Kneehill Solar

La centrale photovoltaïque Kneehill est une installation solaire de 25 MWac construite dans le comté de Kneehill, en Alberta, juste au nord de la ville de Three Hills, branchée au système électrique interconnecté de l’Alberta à la sous-station 770S Three Hills. Chaque année, le projet solaire Kneehill produira suffisamment d’électricité pour alimenter plus de 6 000 foyers moyens en Alberta et compensera environ 30 000 tonnes métriques d’équivalent CO2.

Projet Hand Hills

Hand Hills

Le projet éolien Hand Hills est situé sur des terres privées dans les municipalités du comté de Starland et de Special Areas No. 2, à environ 6 km au sud-est du village de Delia, et à environ 28 km au nord-est de Drumheller, en Alberta. Le projet comprend 29 générateurs éoliens Siemens Gamesa SG 5.0-145 (« WTGs ») avec une hauteur de 95,5 mètres, permettant d’atteindre une capacité nominale totale pouvant aller jusqu’à 145 MW. BluEarth Renewables est le développeur, propriétaire et exploitant du projet éolien Hand Hills.

The Empress Solar Project is in Cypress County, in Alberta, approximately 30km south of the Village of Empress on approximately 284 acres of privately owned land. The Power plant shall consist of ground mounted, solar PV Modules, with a total generating capacity of 38.5 MWac and 48.13 M Wdc.

Buffalo Plains Wind Farm

Buffalo Plains Wind Farm is a project located west of Lomond, Alberta in Vulcan County consisting of 83 wind turbine generators that will generate enough to supply a city of more than 100,000 homes with clean energy.
