Mr. Jacques was hired by Pomerleau in 2006 as a civil engineering estimator. He then assumed the role of Technical Director for Phases 2 and 3 of the Laviolette Bridge in Trois-Rivières and later earned a promotion to Project Manager for the Pointe Noire Terminal project. He joined the Borea team in 2007 as a Project Manager, showcasing his expertise on projects such as the Lac Alfred Phases 1 and 2, Mont-Louis, Jardin d'Éole, Carleton, Jericho, and Adelaide wind farms.
In 2015, he was appointed as Construction Manager for Ontario and Western Canada. Since then, Mr. Jacques has contributed to the success of various projects, including East Durham, Cedar Point, Niagara, Port Ryerse, the Nicolas Riou wind farms, and most recently, the Brooks and Barlow solar farms.
Mr. Jacques has a good knowledge of wood, steel and concrete structures, and basic knowledge of electricity. He also has experience in all types of technical drawings (construction plans, structural drawings, electrical drawings, shop drawings, etc.).
He enjoys a great deal of autonomy while enjoying being part of a team. He has a keen eye for accuracy, a great sense of responsibility, and is a passionate leader.
